For five decades, the symposium has given researchers from all over Europe the opportunity for scientific exchange. The GLEA Award for Excellence in Hemophilia Research will be presented during the Hemophilia Symposium. Once a year, the Günter Landbeck Excellence Award (GLEA) honors outstanding scientific studies on blood coagulation.
